About Me.
I’m a Second-City-trained comedy writer living in Chicago and a lifelong fan of carbohydrates.
I wrote and produced the award-winning musical Tapped, loosely based on the NSA wiretapping scandal, but I also write screenplays, TV pilots and emails to my mom. In 2016, I created a blog that went viral called Donald Maroney (it took quotes from 30 Rock’s Jenna Maroney and superimposed them on pictures of Donald Trump… very deep). At the time it was a fun and whimsical jab at an obviously doomed candidate. What idiots we were! After graduating from UCLA, I worked in international development (with a short stint at the United Nations), but I decided that solving global poverty wasn't as rewarding as receiving a smattering of laughter from six half-drunk strangers. The theater! Now here I am in my mid-30s, living in Donald Trump’s America and writing to make an often unbearable reality just a little more bearable. |
